Sea World

Rhiannon loves Sea World. When she was still very little she would tell people we were going to go see the orcas. Not Shamu, the orcas. I didn't want to tell a one year old those huge animals she loved watching so much were called killer whales, so they have always been orcas to her.
Uncle Kevin has been waiting till Rhiannon got old enough to climb on these ropes. Now people won't look at him so funny when he's climbing and flipping around with all the little kids. That's the fun thing about having kids, you get to play again.
All 5 of Sea Worlds orcas. I thought that was cool to see.
And they have a Michael sized area to play in too. So much fun.

Sea World is just another thing I have fun memories of as a kid, and now I get to take my kids there.

Last Tuesday I had my first back to school night as a parent. The preschoolers did a few song and dances, then Rhiannon got to show us her room and all the things they do at school. It was cute, and now I feel old.

ballet

I was never a girly girl, and I never thought I would have a daughter dressed all in frilly pink in ballet class.. But this is just cute.
Rhiannon is 3 now, so along with preschool (today was her first day) she is also taking ballet. She loves dancing around at home, so I couldn't wait till she was old enough to start classes. Who knows if she'll want to keep doing it long term, but she has fun and it's good practice fallowing directions in a group.

Puppies!

So I'm a little late posting this, but it's been a little crazy around here. A crashed computer, moving, trying to get pictures on a new computer.... Finally, here I am. We had to go see Aunt Chris's puppies before they all went to new homes. They were very cute. It was like a Charmin commercial in there.
A blue eyed boy meets a blue eyed girl.

I think the puppies were the perfect age to visit. Old enough to play with, but not old enough to bite little fingers too hard.

Sleepy puppy.

Rhiannon wants a dog.

We got to see Uncle Donnie and puppies in the same day. What a day.
